Superb Antique French Veneered Carriage Alarm Clock

Circa 1870

A rare and lovely little French Carriage Alarm made with veneered wood instead of the normal glass.

It is in original condition with the original platform.

The alarm is set using the extended hand on the dial.

It still retains its original enameled dial with Roman Numerals, original Black Spade hands.

The superb French movement has had a full service with new mainsprings and keeps excellent time.

The clock is in original condition with no major restoration
